  1. Once logged in https://help.allegiantnow.com/en_US/automate-how-to-login
  2. You will be brought to a list of your computers.  There are several fields you can look at when controlling a computer.
Computer name: This is the name of the computer
Last Logged in user: This is the last person it's seen as logged in (NOTE: this is a field you'll have to scroll for.)
IP Address: This is  the last reported internal IP.
  3. Once you've selected the computer you want to control you'll want to look at the flags column to see if that computer is on.
The first computer in this screen shot is online denoted by the green circle with plus in it.
The second computer is offline and can't be controlled and is denoted with a red symbol plus a x in it.

  1. Once you know which one you're able to control select it from the list and click ScreenConnect or Backstage.
ScreenConnect: Exactly what the user sees on screen.
Backstage: Hidden from the user with LIMITED functionality and slow.  But can run cmd, powershell, and use file explorer in the background without interrupting the user.
  1. This may request an install if it's your first time running it.
  2. You should now be in control of the computer.

There is a ribbon at the top of the control session that will let you perform actions (most will be under the lighting bolt.)

You can have it share your clip board so that when you copy paste something you can then paste it on the remote machine.  This will also bring their clipboard to your machine (copy paste from their machine to yours).

If that doesn't work you can then try to send clipboard keystrokes it will send what's in your keyboard to the workstation.
Ctrl-Alt-Del will send that key combination.

When working with the console a banner will appear stating your are connected.  This cannot be removed as it's a security feature to let the end user know someone is controlling their computer.
