General Information
There are really two methods to send a fax. You can send a fax via email or from the securecloudfax.com website, It is important to note that the following requirements have been met before you can use these methods.
- You have received an email with your Secure Cloud Fax account information
- You note the email address on your account
Sending Via Email
Sending via Email
Requirement: You must send from a valid email address set up on the fax server. If you are using a Multi-Function Printer to send the email of a scanned document, the email it is sending from must be in our system. If you are unsure of this, ask your IT Administrator.
Format: phonenumber@securecloudfax.com (The to: address needs to be a 10-digit phone number @securecloudfax.com)
- For example, Sending a fax to 9135551234 would look like this
- To: 9135551234@securecloudfax.com
- Subject: This will be the Fax Subject Line
- Body: The text in the body will be sent as comments on the cover page
- Attachments: Attachments will be sent in the order they are attached. If you want to send a cover page, attach that file first.
Sending via WebClient

Requirement: You must have a valid username and password to login to the site. If you do not have one, please request one from your IT Administrator.
Login to - http://securecloudfax.com
Select Compose Fax
Populate the Recipients Field. (Multiple Recipients can be added)
Select the cover sheet (If Applicable). You can also just attach your own as the first attachment, and this will be the cover page
- Enter the Subject for the Fax
- Enter Comments
- Choose Attachments
Additionally, you can use the tab "Sender & Company Information" to change the sender information to "Your Info". You can also use the "Options" tab to change other settings on the fax, permitting you to have permission to do so. One of these is to delay a fax. So, if you need to send a fax tomorrow but have time today to put it together, just delay it for a day.
Once you are ready, press submit.
Sending via Web Fax Composer
Sending via Web Fax Composer
Requirement: You must install the Web Fax Composer on your machine to use this feature. If you do not have the software, please get in touch with your Administrator or Allegiant Support to request the installation media.
The Web Fax Composer is a print driver that allows you to print a document from your machine and create a fax with it.
First, you must open your document and navigate to the print menu. (Normally File/Print)
Select the printer "Web Fax Composer."
Select Print
You will then be directed to this screen
The first time you use this, you may have to fill in the authentication fields for your account.
- Select Use Basic Authentication
- Enter your Fax Username and Password
- Select Remember Password
- Enable Auto Upload if you want to bypass this screen in the future
- Once you press Upload, it will navigate you to the webpage with the fax attached.
- Populate the Recipients Field. (Multiple Recipients can be added)
- Select the cover sheet (If Applicable). You can also just attach your own as the first attachment, and this will be the cover page
- Enter the Subject for the Fax
- Enter Comments
- Choose Attachments (If you are adding anything further, the document you uploaded should already be in the uploaded attachments.)
You can also use the tab "Sender & Company Information" tab to change the sender information to "Your Info." So if you need to send a fax tomorrow but you have time today to get it put together just delay it for a day.
Once you are ready, press submit.
Notifications
By default, you will receive notifications on the status of your fax. If your administrator altered these, then you might not get them or the attachments.
Sent = Fax Sent to Phone Number
Received = Fax Received from Phone Number
Error = An error occurred while sending to Phone Number (Look under error message for more details)
Checking your Fax status
You can check the status of all of your faxes in the "Outgoing Queue" folder, If it has been processed it will be in your "History" folder.
