When to Use This Template
Use this notification when implementing or updating any of the following Microsoft 365 security configurations:

We are making updates to our Microsoft 365 security settings to better protect company accounts, email, files, and business applications.
As part of this change, you may notice new or updated sign-in requirements when accessing Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, or other company applications.
What to Expect
You may be prompted to complete Multi-Factor Authentication when signing in.
You may be asked to register or verify your security information.
Company-managed devices may need to meet security requirements before accessing Microsoft 365 resources.
Personal or unmanaged devices may have limited access depending on company policy.
You may see prompts related to device compliance, Microsoft Authenticator, or the Company Portal app.
What You Need to Do
Please follow any Microsoft sign-in or security prompts that appear.
Do not ignore MFA, security registration, or device compliance prompts.
Make sure your work device is powered on and connected to the internet so security settings can apply.
If prompted, install or open the Company Portal app and follow the instructions shown.
Report any sign-in issues to IT as soon as possible.
