The new Shared Voicemail feature in Persona Connect enhances collaboration by providing users with access to voicemails shared across multiple inboxes. Shared Voicemail allows users to visually manage voicemails not only in their personal mailbox but also in up to 12 shared mailboxes configured for their account.
With Shared Voicemail, you can:
- View voicemails categorized into folders (New, Saved, Trash).
- Easily access critical details such as caller information, timestamps, and message durations.
- Leverage management tools like transcription, playback, forwarding, saving, and deleting.
Feature Overview
Shared Voicemail is currently accessible via the Persona Connect portal. Here’s an outline of the key functionalities available:
Folder Access
- New Messages Folder: Displays all unread voicemails in real time.
- Saved Messages Folder: Keeps important voicemails for future reference.
- Trash Folder: Stores deleted voicemails for 24 hours, allowing recovery if needed.
Message Summary
- Total Messages: Each folder clearly displays the count of messages it contains, enabling users to manage their workload effectively.
Caller Information
- View caller ID details, including name (if available) and phone number, to identify the source of the voicemail.
Date, Time, and Duration
- Each voicemail entry shows the exact date and time it was received, along with the duration of the message, so you can prioritize your responses.
Transcription
- Quickly read the content of voicemails with automatic message transcription. This feature is particularly helpful in noisy environments or for visually reviewing content.
Message Management
- Play: Listen to voicemail directly from the portal.
- Forward: Share voicemails with other users or team members by forwarding them via email or other means.
- Save: Preserve important voicemails in the Saved folder for future access.
- Delete: Clean up your folders by deleting unnecessary voicemails, which will move them to the Trash folder.

Setting Up the Shared Voicemail Feature
Request Activation
To enable the Shared Voicemail feature in Persona Connect, a support ticket must be opened. Our support team will configure the feature based on the details you provide.
Provide Required Information
To expedite the setup process, include the following details in your support ticket:
- Users Who Need Access: List the users who will require access to the Shared Voicemail feature.
- Mailboxes to Share: Specify the mailboxes each user needs access to.
If you are setting up multiple users for shared voicemail, it might be easier to share them in a spreadsheet.

Submit the Ticket
Once you have the information together:
- Navigate to the Support Portal or draft an email to support@allegiantnow.com
- Attach the information or filled-out spreadsheet to your support ticket.
- Include any additional details or special requests in the ticket description.
