When creating a new user, you might have an existing extension created that you would like to reuse. This document will walk you through resetting an account to clear all the existing data.
Log in to the user portal - https://portal.personacloud.net/portal/users
Select the user you wish to reset, Then click on the Advanced Tab
Click on Reset User
By default, the checkboxes below will be selected. To recycle the user, clear the name, and change the email, select the Recycle User checkbox at the bottom. You also have the ability to unassign the phone number and remove the physical phones from the user.
Once you select Reset, you will be prompted with a confirmation message showing what you will perform on the user.
Select Reset again to confirm
You will now be prompted to enter the new user's information.
Once you have filled in the form, You can check the “Send Welcome Email” checkbox if you would like to email them immediately. Otherwise, you can go back into the user and perform that step later if desired once you select Save.
After you have saved the Recycle, You will be directed back to the user screen to fill in the reset of the users details. You can find details about those fields in the below article.
