This document will walk you through turning the Connect Web Client into an app on your machine.

This is useful to get the Connect Web Client to act like a desktop application instead of a tab in your browser. This is part of Google Chrome, so the Web Client must be launched in Chrome.

First, we must get logged into the Connect Web Client through the browser.

Now that we are logged in, we will see a new icon in the address bar. This icon looks like a computer monitor with a down arrow. Please select this.

Once you press Install, the app should break out into its own window, as shown below. 

You can now launch the app from Windows or Mac by searching for the Connect Web application.

Alternatively, you can also Pin the icon to your taskbar or dock for easy access.
 

For Mac Users, you will right-click the icon in the dock while its running and select Options/Keep in Dock.
